The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is the largest youth organization in the U.S. with nearly 3 million youth members and 1.1 million registered adult leaders. These members make up the 122,582 local Scout units that in 2005 logged more than 34 million hours of community service.
Our program is a family program. We hope it will become part of your family and that you will come to enjoy Scouting just as much as your son.

Scouting is active in so many ways! There are numerous programs and activities for your son to participate in.
When you join your Unit, make sure you get all the contact information you will need and also make sure your provide the means by which you wished to be contacted. This includes email, home phone, cell phone, and even Facebook!

Our first recommendation is that you talk to your Den Leader and/or Cubmaster. The have a lot of resources and knowledge about Scouting in your Pack and maybe able to help you out.
